Kippewa Family Camp began in 2009 and has run every summer since. Our families return year after year for the fun and camaraderie of an inclusive,  multi-activity experience for all ages.  Join us this summer to see why Kippewa Family Camp is the perfect Maine family vacation!

 

Activities for the Entire Family

We invite families to come and join us for a relaxing (or busy – you choose!) session on the shores of beautiful Lake Cobbossecontee in Monmouth, Maine.

Enjoy an all-inclusive experience, including Swimming, Canoeing, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Waterskiing. Wakeboarding, Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Kickball, Climbing Wall, High Ropes, Arts, Crafts, Rocketry, Campfires, S’Mores, Traditional summer camp evening activities and great chef prepared food! (You can even connect to wifi to get work done – if you have to…)

For a full Maine experience, combine Family Camp with many other of the other adventures Maine has to offer during the summer. Acadia National Park, Beaches, Lobster Tours, Freeport Outlets, Baxter State Park, Lighthouses and more!

  • Accommodation Details

    • Family Camp session is 6 days/5 nights.
    • Cabins sizes vary and can sleep between 10 and 30 people.
    • Tuition is based on a private cabin rate for up to 4 people, with additional per person rate for the 5th or more person in each bunk. Children 3 and under are no additional charge.

  • 2025 Tuition: $3400 per cabin up to 4 people; $675 per additional person

  • 2025 Dates: Sunday, August 10th – Friday, August 15th

Prices include activities, meals and lodging.

What if I want to bring my furry friends with me to camp?

Sorry, all pets need to stay at home – but you can write them a letter and let them know about the great time you are having. We can provide local boarding options upon request.

What will my bunk look like?

Our bunks have screened in porches, wooden beds, and several have decorative fireplaces. These cozy cabins are all set with their own bathrooms and all cabins include electricity, toilets, sinks, and showers.

 

Do I need to bring my own sheets and towels?

Yes, please bring your own linens. If needed, linens can be rented through camp on an individual basis.

Are there opportunities for myself and my family to leave camp?

Yes, you are welcome to take trips off camp and enjoy all that Maine has to offer. If you want to, that is… we find most people are pretty happy to just stay at camp once they arrive!

 

Is there a place for me to check my emails or make a phone call if I need to?

Yes, Wifi is available. Just a reminder, though – Family Camp is meant to be a vacation! We recommend leaving your computers at home.
