DISCOVERY HOUR

Discovery Hour is our daily elective period, where girls choose from a rotating menu of activities each afternoon after lunch. It’s the perfect time to try something new or revisit an old favorite! This is also when we sprinkle in some of our silliest camp activities—how about a Stand-Up Paddle Board Dance Party? Maybe a Flamenco dance class? Or a relaxing session of Goat Yoga? With new options every day, Discovery Hour is always a camper favorite!

EVENING ACTIVITIES

The fun doesn’t stop after dinner! Each evening, campers gather for Evening Activity—sometimes with their bunk, sometimes with their age group, and sometimes the whole camp together.  The lineup changes nightly, featuring unique camp games like Mostest, Panic and Statues, Capture the Flag, Campfire Karaoke, Granny Bingo, and a whole bunch of opportunities to dress up and be silly with friends. Whether it’s an active game or a more relaxed night (Hello, Spa Night!), evening activities bring everyone together for a great time before winding down for the night.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Special Events are some of the most exciting, laughter-filled, and memory-making moments at camp! Gold Rush takes us back to the Wild West as campers search for hidden gold to score the best prizes around. Kippyween brings the magic of Halloween to summer—think bunk costumes, hayrides, trick-or-treating, bobbing for donuts, and even a haunted house!

The Rainbow Game is a colorful, fast-paced adventure full of surprises, while Final Banquet gives us a chance to celebrate the session together with a classic Maine Lobster Bake.

And of course, there’s Color War—Red vs. Blue in a friendly (but fierce!) battle for the championship title. We also gather around the fire for Opening and Closing Campfire, where we sing our most favorite campfire songs. Whether we’re on a scavenger hunt, dressed in crazy costumes, or cheering at the top of our lungs, these special events bring us together in the most unforgettable ways!

BEACH TRIP

Each session, we pack up the entire camp, bring along a special picnic lunch and head to the Maine coast!  KPT girls spend the day exploring Reid State Park, building sand castles, playing games, relaxing on the beach, and splashing in the waves!  A KPT Favorite - Beach Day is a quintessential Maine experience (and arguably Piper's favorite day of each session).  Don't forget your sunscreen!

BUNK LIFE

Bunk life at Kippewa Point is all about friendship, laughter, and making memories in a close-knit community. Campers live in cozy, well-equipped cabins with their bunkmates and counselors, sharing meals, adventures, and special moments together. From late-night chats to cabin traditions, the bonds formed in the bunk make camp feel like home.
