ABOUT KIPPEWA EQUESTRIAN ACADEMY
WELCOME TO KEA!
At Kippewa Equestrian Academy (KEA) we offer a 12-day immersive program for girls entering 4th – 11th grades who want to improve their riding skills and expand their equine knowledge! Girls of all ability levels are welcome. Whether an enthusiastic beginner, an advanced rider, or anything in between, KEA campers enjoy their time at camp through our complete equestrian experience.
Campers receive outstanding riding instruction tailored to their skill level and enjoy caring for the horses from reveille to taps. In addition, they have time each day to participate in traditional camp activities such as swimming, boating, or arts and crafts, along with fun bunk-bonding evening activities that range from creative nights of "stall or treat" to laid back movie nights or traditional campfires.
OUR UNIQUE SETTING
Our Equestrian Academy is in a truly unique setting with bunks overlooking the horse turn-outs and rings. Girls wake up to the gentle sounds of horses just outside and can sit on their front porch watching horses graze while enjoying an afternoon snack themselves.
With horses just outside the front door, campers experience a true equestrian lifestyle, from morning chores to the joy of riding.

Deepen Your Connection – Learn horse psychology, understand behavior, and build trust through hands-on care, grooming, and wellness.
Develop Training Skills – Work with your chosen project horse and gain hands-on experience in horse training through our Track to Treasured and Pony Training programs.
